1. Material Guidelines Ignorance:
The most common thing to keep in mind is that all the materials have different qualities like brittle, stiff, flexibility, solidity, dark or light weight so on so forth. At the time of designing, these qualities considered while designing concerning particular material.
Sticking to material guidelines is an essential part while developing the 3D Model and for successful printing.
2. Printing Technology Ignorance:
The core chemical characteristics of our print materials that are different and the technologies that we use for printing each of these materials are also different.
Ensure that you check the material pages before you start on the designing work. You need to understand that the maximum printing sizes differ when you use different printers and printing technologies.
3. Wall Thickness Ignorance:
Wall thickness Problems are the underlying common grounds for 3D models printing. If the wall thickness is too thin, then it’s unable to print small parts on the model. On the other hand, if the walls of 3D model are thick, then it causes internal stress, and there is an adverse effect on the item. The 3D piece can easily break or crack.
Ignoring Wall thickness can cause the biggest problem while printing product for your client. It is necessary to check always on the wall thinks of the model that you want to get printed.
4. File Resolution Ignorance
As we all are aware, we save our 3D printing design in STL format. While exporting your designs to STL format, you have the check on the resolutions. Too high or too low resolutions can cause the problems.
The best solution to file resolution – at the time of exporting a file defines the tolerance for the export. It is advisable to choose 0.01 mm for a good file export.
5. Software Guidelines Ignorance:
The experts use many different packages of 3D model software. Some are for 3D Prints and 3D expert artists mostly utilize others. The 3D design requires additional editing before they are processed for printed 3D model or items.
Ensure that you read the software guidelines before turning a 3D design into 3D printable model.
